Starting a hate community can land you in serious trouble on orkut. A 22 year old was arrested for starting a hate community against Sonia Gandhi, the 13th Most Powerful Women in the world (Forbes.com).

The whole episode was started off when Pune Congress activist Amol Bhokare saw the posting and notified authorities at the Deccan Gymkhana police in December last year. Police asked Orkut to supply the IP address of the perpetrator and found the message to originate from the email address.
